ACROTRIX STUDENT CLASS / WORKSHOP / INTENSIVE BOOKING TERMS &
CONDITIONS
I recognise that the participation in ACROTRIX workshops, intensives or student classes
(whether online or in person) can be dangerous and acknowledge the risks involved and that
the organisers and ACROTRIX and all companies involved have taken all reasonable and
practical steps to minimise the risks.
I / the participant will wear appropriate clothing and use any protective equipment provided
or advised.
I confirm that the participant is under 18 years old but above 3 years of age and that the
child is over 1 metre tall.
I / the participant will not undertake any skills that are beyond my level of skill or are a
danger to others.
I agree that I / the participant will carry out the activity in accordance with the specific safety
instructions that will be given before undertaking the activity
I declare I / the participant am in good health and not suffering from any medical condition or
disability which is likely to adversely affect my normal control or which might make it unsafe
for me / the participant to participate.
I / the participant acknowledge that ACROTRIX did not give me / the participant medical
advice relating to my / the participant’s physical condition and ability to participate in the
ACROTRIX workshop,intensive or classes, or use ACROTRIX equipment.
I confirm that I / the participant will be responsible for the payment of any damage caused as
a consequence of my dangerous manoeuvres, loss of control, or negligence.
I fully indemnify the organisers and ACROTRIX and all companies involved against all and
any loss or claims arising as a consequence of my I / the participant’s participation within the
ACROTRIX workshops, intensives, or using any ACROTRIX equipment.
I fully indemnify the organisers and ACROTRIX and all companies involved with the
ACROTRIX workshops, intensives or classes and use of ACROTRIX equipment against
claims of injury to myself / the participant or any third party howsoever arising as a
consequence of my participation on the ACROTRIX equipment, or in the ACROTRIX
workshops, intensives & classes.
For cancellations, you will need to notify us at least 14 days in advance for
intensives/workshops and 30 days in advance of your payment date for in person classes, or
you will be charged in full for your booking.
This agreement is covered by English Law. In the event that any part of this agreement is for
any reason unenforceable the remained shall remain in full force and effect.
Subscription Payment Schedule:
● The subscription fee will be charged monthly for 12 months of the year.
● The monthly subscription price is inclusive of breaks taken over the summer holidays
(2 weeks for Watford, 4 weeks for all non Watford classes), Easter (2 weeks), and
Christmas (2 weeks).
● These break periods are factored into the annual pricing structure and will not result
in any additional charges or reductions in the subscription fee during those months.
ACROTRIX TEACHER TRAINING TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Titles
1.1 ACROTRIX is an acrobatic consultancy, owned by Peter James Pearson. ACROTRIX,
and Peter James Pearson (PJP) can and should be treated as one and the same for the
purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Insurance and Liability
2.1 ACROTRIX is run by coaches who are fully registered to and affiliated with Insure4Sport
(I4S), underwriters of the courses, providing full insurance including Public Liability.
2.2 I4S has arranged liability insurance to provide indemnity to affiliated coaches in respect
of their activities whilst advising others on the courses. This insurance does not provide any
indemnity to any learner who is not directly affiliated to ACROTRIX (through the membership
program, underwritten by I4S).
2.3 It is the responsibility of any non-affiliated learner to ensure that they have purchased
membership with ACROTRIX (including insurance), or independently arranged appropriate
insurance to cover themselves whilst participating in the courses or classes. This should be
for the full duration of the courses i.e. cover taught sessions, mentoring. Learners who are
not affiliated to ACROTRIX may be asked to provide proof of adequate alternative cover, or
to sign a waiver (failure to do so may result in the learner being dismissed from the courses).
No fees will be refundable for any learner dismissed under this section.
2.4 ACROTRIX, PJP, and/nor I4S shall not be liable and expressly excludes responsibility for
any loss, cost, expense or damage to personal belongings suffered by the learner whilst on
a course, or for death or any personal injury suffered by the learner unless caused by I4S’s
proven negligence or breach of statutory duty governed by Ripe Insurance LTD.
3. Cancellation of Workshops, Intensives and/or in person classes by ACROTRIX
3.1 ACROTRIX reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses/assessments at their
discretion if in the opinion of ACROTRIX there are insufficient learners enrolled. In such
cases the learner/s shall be offered a refund of the fees paid or a transfer to an alternative
course. In such cases ACROTRIX’s liability shall be restricted to reimbursement of any fees
paid to them.
3.2 In the event of a cancellation for a reason outside the control of ACROTRIX, ACROTRIX
shall be under no obligation to provide any reimbursement. In the event of any
reimbursement being made it shall be a gratuitous payment made without obligation or
liability.
3.3 In the event that Acrotrix needs to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances or
reasons beyond our control, we will make every effort to notify registered participants as
soon as possible via email, phone, or other contact methods provided during registration.
3.4. If a class is cancelled by Acrotrix we will offer a make-up class on an alternative date, if
advised that the participant cannot attend that date then a credit will be applied to the
participant's account for the full amount of the class fee. This credit can be applied towards
future Intensives & apparel offered by Acrotrix.
3.5 Participants can attend the make up class or if they can’t attend can use the credit
towards any future Intensive or apparel provided by Acrotrix. If the credit has not been used
by the date of leaving the class then the credit will be refunded to them.
3.6. In the event of a class cancellation by Acrotrix refunds will not be issued. Instead, a
credit will be offered as per the terms outlined above.
3.7. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that their contact information, including
email and phone number, provided to Acrotrix during registration, is accurate and up-to-date
to receive timely notifications regarding class cancellations.
3.8. Acrotrix reserves the right to make exceptions to these terms and conditions on a
case-by-case basis, depending on the circumstances surrounding the class cancellation.
3.9.Participants are encouraged to reach out to Acrotrix's customer service team for any
questions or concerns regarding class cancellations and credit issuance.
3.10.By registering for classes with Acrotrix, participants acknowledge that they have read,
understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions regarding class cancellations
and credit issuance.
4. Temporary Changes to Class Dates/Times by Acrotrix
4.1 Acrotrix reserves the right to make temporary changes to class dates/times or schedules
due to reasons such as instructor availability, facility availability, or other unforeseen
circumstances. Every effort will be made to notify registered participants of any temporary
changes as soon as possible via email, phone, or other contact methods provided during
registration.
4.2 In the event that a class date/time is changed by Acrotrix, participants will be offered a
credit to their account for the full amount of the affected class if they cannot attend the
temporary date/time. This credit can be applied towards future Intensives or apparel offered
by Acrotrix.
4.3. Participants can use the credit towards any future intensive or apparel provided by
Acrotrix. If the participant withdraws from the class and the credit has not been utilised it will
be refunded to them.
4.4. Acrotrix does not offer refunds for changes to class dates/times. Instead, a credit will be
offered as per the terms outlined above. This does not apply to learner-initiated absences
due to illness or injury, which are addressed separately under Section 5 and 8.5
4.5. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that their contact information, including
email and phone number, provided to Acrotrix during registration, is accurate and up-to-date
to receive timely notifications regarding temporary changes to class times.
4.6. Acrotrix reserves the right to make exceptions to these terms and conditions on a
case-by-case basis, depending on the circumstances surrounding the temporary change in
class times.
4.7. Communication: Participants are encouraged to reach out to Acrotrix's customer service
team for any questions or concerns regarding changes to class times and credit issuance.
4.8. By registering for classes with Acrotrix, participants acknowledge that they have read,
understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions regarding temporary changes
to class times and credit issuance.
5. Subscription Pausing Policy
5.1 Clients may request to pause their subscription in cases of extended absence, under the
following conditions:
● The absence must be for three (3) or more consecutive weeks.
● A valid GP note or medical certificate must be submitted to support the pause
request.
● The pausing of the subscription will take effect from the date the GP note is received,
unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5.2 If the client does not return following the agreed pausing period:
● Their subscription will automatically resume, and
● They will remain liable for the standard notice period as outlined in the Terms &
Conditions section 8 if they do not return.
5.3 All requests to pause subscriptions are granted at the discretion of Acrotrix and must
be confirmed in writing.
6. Sibling Discount
6.1 A 10% sibling discount is available for additional children from the same household.
6.2 A 10% sibling discount is available for additional children from the same household and
begins from the first full calendar month of active paid subscription following any trial period.
6.3 The discount applies only to ongoing subscriptions and does not apply to trial classes or
part-month attendance.
6.4 Acrotrix reserves the right to request proof of sibling status and may modify or withdraw
the discount policy at any time.
7. Registration Fee
7.1 Payment: By registering and submitting the registration fee, you agree to pay the
specified amount for the event, program, or service being offered.
7.2 Non-Refundable: The registration fee is non-refundable unless otherwise specified. Once
paid, the fee will not be refunded for any reason, including cancellation of the event,
program, or service, or non-participation.
7.3 Transferability: The registration fee is non-transferable. It cannot be transferred to
another individual or another event, program, or service unless explicitly permitted by the
organiser.
7.4 Deadline: Registration fees must be paid by the specified deadline to secure your spot in
the event, program, or service. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in cancellation of
your registration.
7.5 Confirmation: Payment of the registration fee does not guarantee participation. Your
registration is only confirmed upon receipt of payment and any additional required
information or documentation.
7.6 Changes and Cancellations: The organiser reserves the right to change or cancel the
event, program, or service for any reason. In the event of cancellation, the registration fee
may be refunded at the organiser's discretion.
7.7 Late Payments: Any registration fees paid after the specified deadline may be subject to
additional charges or penalties.
7.8 Taxes: Registration fees may be subject to applicable taxes, which will be added to the
total amount due.
7.9 Currency: All registration fees are stated in the specified currency. Any currency
conversion fees or fluctuations are the responsibility of the registrant.
7.10 Disputes: Any disputes regarding registration fees or these terms and conditions shall
be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the event, program, or
service is taking place.
Vest and Journal: Upon payment of the registration fee, participants will receive a
Vest and Journal, the combined recommended retail price (RRP) of which is £40.
These items are necessary for participation in the class.
8. Cancellation by the Learner
8.1 Once an application has been submitted, the learner is liable for the full course/class fee,
regardless of whether they later choose to withdraw voluntarily.
8.2 If the learner is unable to attend their chosen course or class, a written notice of
cancellation must be submitted to ACROTRIX. Any applicable refund will be processed in
accordance with the cancellation terms outlined in this section.
8.3 If written notice of cancellation is not received, the learner remains liable for the full
course/class fee. All cancellation notices must be sent to Acrotrix Customer Services.
8.4 Cancellation charges are as follows:
a) 30 days' notice or more before the payment collection date (1st of each month): no
charge.
b) Less than 30 days' notice before the payment collection date: 100% of the
monthly/course fee is payable.
Notice of cancellation must be provided in writing at least 30 days before your next
scheduled payment date (1st of the month) to avoid being charged for the following
month.
8.5 Once the course or class has commenced, no refunds will be issued for early withdrawal
or non-attendance.
In cases of extended absence due to exceptional circumstances (such as illness, injury,
or extreme personal matters), learners may request to pause their subscription in
accordance with the Subscription Pausing Policy (Section 5).
Supporting evidence (e.g. a medical certificate) must be provided, and approval is at the
discretion of Acrotrix. In exceptional cases where a pause is not suitable, a refund or course
transfer may be considered.
8.6 Any approved reimbursement will be issued within 30 days of receiving the refund
request and necessary documentation.
9. Trials
These terms and conditions govern the trial class booking policy for Acrotrix. Please
carefully read and understand the following terms and conditions before booking a trial acro
gymnastics class.
Booking and No-Show Policy
9.1 When you book a trial acro gymnastics class with Acrotrix, you are committing to attend
the scheduled class on the designated date.
9.2 If you fail to show up for the booked trial class on the scheduled date or the subsequent
class date (the following week), without providing any prior notice to Acrotrix, the following
actions will be taken:
9.3 Actions for No-Show
9.4 Your registration with Acrotrix will be removed from our active registers.
9.5 You will be placed on the class waiting list, and your spot in future classes will be subject
to availability.
9.6 If you wish to receive a refund for the trial class fee, you must contact us directly within a
reasonable timeframe. Refunds will be provided at the discretion of Acrotrix.
10 Eligibility for trial classes
10.1 Each participant is eligible for one trial acro gymnastics class within a 12-month period.
By booking a trial class with Acrotrix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and
agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms may result
in the actions outlined in section 9.

Acrotrix reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time
without prior notice. Please check our website or contact us for the most up-to-date
information regarding trial class bookings and policies.
11. Discount for Multiple Class Attendance (After Trial Classes)
11.1 A 10% discount will be applied to the monthly subscription fee for children who are
attending multiple classes with Acrotrix after they have completed their trial classes.
11.2 The discount applies once a child is enrolled in more than one class per week.
11.3 The discount is only applicable to ongoing subscriptions and will not be applied during
the trial period.
11.4 Acrotrix reserves the right to request proof of multiple class attendance and may modify
or withdraw the discount policy at any time.
12 Miscellaneous
12.1 ACROTRIX is in no way related to or affiliated with Acrobatic Arts, Acrobatique or any
other dance / gymnastics syllabus.
12.2 ACROTRIX is a member of the CPD organisation, and thus the Teacher Training
courses are CPD certified, allowing teachers to add the hours they attended our courses
onto their total CPD hours. The certification is purely for teaching only. It may not be used for
any examinations, competitions or otherwise.
12.3 ACROTRIX shall not be liable and expressly excludes responsibility for any loss, cost,
expense or damage to personal belongings suffered by the learner whilst on a course, or for
death or any personal injury suffered by any participant taught by any learner / attendee of
ACROTRIX courses/classes.
